It's been a rainy yet creative weekend!

Happy Birthday Lady Bug card. I used my Mini Monogram cartridge to cut the black scallop and the circles. I colored in the bug with markers and added black glitter to the spots. I embossed the red background and added some ribbon.

I used my Sweet Treats stamp set from Stampin Up!

I cut this from my New Arrival cartridge. I then embossed it and Versa Marked the edges for depth. I added the flower brad in the middle.

Apple and worm "Friends to the end". I cut both images from Create a Critter.  I used Peachy Keen stamps for the faces. It's so cute!

I made this cupcake with my Sweet Treats cartridge. I embossed the pink and added Stickles to the paper cup. I also added glossy effect to the green cherry.

Another baby card.... SO cute and really simple!

I had to make one for a birthday! This ice cream cone is 1 1/2 inches!

For the Diva in your life.... Love it!

Gluten Free Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Recipe

I had several requests for the recipe. So, here it is.

3/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups of Gluten Free baking flour (King Arthur or Gluten Free Pantry)
2 cups of Gluten Free Oats (Bob's Red Mill)

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. In a mixing bowl beat butter and sugar together for 2 minutes. Add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Add eggs and mix for another 1 minute. Add flour first, then the oats. When all is combined, add 1 cup of raisins.

These cookies will spread on cookie sheet so make sure each cookie is no more than a teaspoon worth of batter. Bake for 8-10 minutes. When they are done, let them cool on the cookie sheet for two minutes. This allows them to "firm up". Gluten Free baked goods are always more fragile then non-gluten free items.

Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Hooter

More Owl Cards

Owl be thinking of you today...#2

Owl be thinking of you today...

I cut out this image from the Straight from the Nest cartridge at 3". I embossed the background and popped up the owl using dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment inside the card because the owl took up the entire front of the card. I LOVE THIS CARD!

Trio of Birthday Birdie's

I made this card using the Straight from the Nest cartridge. I used the border option (it joins the birds together). I stamped the background paper with a small heart stamp (Paper Trey Ink). I added party hats (same cartridge) and added Stickles to the Pom Poms. The Birthday sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink.

Halloween Sweet Treat

I know it's early but..... I couldn't resist. I'm not in love with the colors I chose but it's ok for my first one. The stamp set and sweet treat cups are from Stampin UP!

Gumball Machine

I used the Sweet Treat stamp set from Stampin Up! without the sweet treat cups. I'd like to see some more dimension to this card. Next time, I'll cut out the circles first, then stamp the gumballs. I inked the edges and added a brad to the crank of the machine.

Birthday wishes from Ms. Pig

I used the Create a Critter Cartridge for this card. I cut the pig out at 2" and I used Glossy Effect on her nose. I stitched around the house and embossed the background. The message bubble is from the same cartridge and the sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink.

Use two sided paper for better results.

Hello Kitty Goody Bag

I used Bags, Tags, Boxes & More cartridge to make this little goody bag. So simple yet so cute.
A perfect birthday party treat bags.

Mini Easter Basket

I used the Simply Charmed cartridge and stamped the sentiment. The basket is 5" x 11 1/2" and scored at 4 1/2" on both ends. Score 2 1/2" inches on the long sides and cut towards the middle on the inside square. Use two sided tape to seal and punch holes on sides for ribbon. Fill with treats and enjoy!

Sunflower Sweet Treat Card

I made this card using the Sweet Treat stamp set and a Sweet Treat cup. I stamped the leaf image around the opening and then cup out the same amount of leaves to give dimension.

Birthday Goody Bag

I made this goody bad using the Sweet Treats cartridge. I embossed the frosting and added silver Stickles to the wrapper. Fill it with your favorite treats and enjoy!

Mother's Day Card

Simple card using only my paper cutter and embossing the word "Mother" with glitter embossing powder and Versa Ink.
